Roseroma’s three key ingredients brought together in a simple ritual for skin vitality

From my Research paper on Rose oil for skincare

I went to aromatherapy school to study Rose. I needed to confirm my belief that Rose shows beauty enhancing properties due to its complicated organic chemistry.
Rose oil is known for its softening, hydrating, and emollient qualities, making it suitable for all skin types, especially dry, mature, or sensitive skin. It supports the skin’s natural repair by calming redness, reducing inflammation, and strengthening delicate capillaries.

Rich in natural antibacterial and anti-inflammatory components, rose oil can help soothe acne-prone, irritated, or reactive skin. Its antioxidants protect the skin from damage and encourage a brighter, more even tone. Combined with rosehip oil, it helps replenish moisture, improve texture, and revive radiance.

Rose has long been valued for its beauty-enhancing properties. From ancient bath rituals to modern botanical care, its extracts including rose water, rose absolute, rose otto, and rosehip oil continue to nourish the complexion and support a calm, balanced appearance.

With its gentle scent and relaxing effect, rose oil also eases facial tension and supports overall well-being, helping the skin look smoother and more at ease.

The Legend of Living Water — Cedar Resin and Pine Nuts oil

The legend tells of a swallow carrying living water across the sky. A few drops fell onto the pine and the cedar, and from that moment these trees remained evergreen, known for their steady strength, life-giving, and healing powers.

Cedar resin in pine nut oil is one of Roseroma’s core elements. Resin is rich in natural antioxidants and antimicrobial compounds, offering a quiet form of biological intelligence that protects and supports the skin. Its evergreen character reflects vitality, balance, and the ability to stay resilient through harsh seasons.

Blended with cold pressed pine nut oil from the Altai region, this traditional remedy has long been valued for nourishing vitality, encouraging skin renewal, and helping the complexion recover from dryness or irritation.

For me, it is more than a wellness elixir. It offers grounding and a sense of protection, reminding us that beauty is strongest when it grows from simple, familiar elements found in nature.
When applied topically, the oil can help with skin regeneration, healing minor wounds, and conditions like dryness.

The Shiny Horse Plant

Sea Buckthorn has long been known as the shiny horse plant. Its Latin name, Hippophae rhamnoides, comes from an old belief that feeding the berries to horses helped improve their coats and vitality. Some stories even connect the plant to Pegasus, suggesting it provided strength for its flight.

Across Europe and Asia, Sea Buckthorn has been part of traditional healing for centuries. Tibetan texts from the eighth century mention it as a nourishing, restorative plant. In Siberia it adapted to extreme cold, forming a rich mix of vitamins and fatty acids that helped people recover from harsh conditions. Its resilience made it a trusted remedy for skin, energy, and general vitality.

The Altai region holds a special place in this history. Local communities have used the plant oil to support strength after long journeys or hard winters. Legends say that Genghis Khan’s warriors relied on Sea Buckthorn to regain stamina and stay well. In more recent times Russian cosmonauts used the oil to protect their skin against radiation during space missions.

Today Sea Buckthorn is recognised as a nutritional powerhouse. It naturally carries vitamins A, B, C, E, and K along with a full range of omegas. Its berries and oil are used in natural wellness, skincare, and even food. For Roseroma it represents the same idea that guided its earliest use. Nature offers what the body understands, and simple elements can nurture both skin and spirit when they are treated with care.

These three key ingredients support skin’s defense mechanism and healing, which is the main purpose of the Roseroma skincare treatment.
